Alexandria, La - On Thursday, May 2, 2024, at approximately 11:30 PM the Alexandria Police Department responded to a local hospital in reference to two individuals suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.  The shooting occurred in the 2800 block of 3rd Street.

Ajax, La- At 10:30 pm Thursday night, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Detectives and Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force Agents had five people in custody in connection with an all-terrain vehicle theft investigation in Ajax according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Stuart Wright.
